↟ Break Away Tale NR 168 // @canadiancarrier

Hi my name is William, I’m 23 and my home base is a small town just south Niagara Falls, Canada called Port Colborne. ⠀

I grew up with the Ideology that I wanted to live life out of the norm. I never cared what people thought about me or how I was received. I did my own thing, what I wanted and when I wanted it. When I stumbled upon a guy living in a van in Chile I instantly fell in love with the concept. Traveling in a van I could take all my hobbies with me wherever I felt like going! Feel like surfing today? Well get in, let’s go. Tired of surfing and need some mountains? Guess what, we can be there by sunrise. What I didn’t expect was how much it would develop me as a person. A van means total freedom through and through. A van means patience and persistence, you will break down and it will be time consuming but you will fix it.⠀

A van means being adopted into a group of like-minded people all over the world. And most importantly a van means isolation and solitude. It gives you the opportunity to disconnect, creates time to think, and allows you to love yourself.⠀
